On Sunday, Sept. 27, Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, which airs on Nickelodeon, tackled the subject of allergies in an episode entitled, “I’m Allergic to My World. ” The segment included interviews with children who have allergies to food, insect stings, and environmental triggers, as well as FAAN’s medical advisor, Robert Wood, M.D. FAAN’s Teen Advisory Group member Nick, and FAAN member Paige (who served as the Child Ambassador for FAAN’s Walk for Food Allergy in Indianapolis) were also featured.
