Restaurant Food Allergy Awareness Bill

The Senate will be considering a bill designed to promote food allergy awareness in restaurants. If you have a few moments, call or email your state senator and show your support.

The *legislation calls for:

-The prominent display of food allergy awareness posters in restaurant staff  areas;

-A notice on menu's of the customers obligation to inform the server of any food allergies;and

-A food allergy training requirement for staff members who are in food preparation or service

*A similar legislation was just enacted in Massachusetts
