Seacoast Food Allergy Group: Change in Meeting Date

Our next meeting will be Monday Nov. 15, 7-9 pm at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Classroom 1.
The hospital had a conflict and asked us to change the date. Sorry for any inconvenience.

SCFAG History

The Seacoast Food Allergy Group was started by Melissa Bouzianis in 1998. Faced with placing her severely food allergic son in the care of teachers in kindergarten, she founded the group to meet others dealing with the same issues. At the time, very few resources were readily available to parents of food allergic children.

The meetings provided an invaluable source of support, resources and strength for many families coping with food allergies. The group expanded to provide community awareness, training to school nurses and food service staff, and advocacy for food allergy issues throughout the greater seacoast area.
